Extra Vivrass is a commercial project developed by TropicX Design Studio, focused on delivering modern architectural solutions that balance functionality, experience, and environmental context.
Completed in 2019, the Extra Supermarket at Vivrass Plaza was designed to transform an existing retail space into a modern shopping destination for Suva. The vision was to create more than just a supermarket by offering customers a comfortable, attractive, and enjoyable shopping experience.
The design was inspired by traditional Fijian kesa motifs, which were reinterpreted using modern materials and architectural forms. This approach celebrates Fiji's cultural identity while giving the building a fresh and contemporary appearance.
